  1. Cut the pumpkin and potato into large cubes
  2. Melt a large knob of butter in a large pot over a medium heat and sauté the onions until translucent.
  3. Add the potato, pumpkin and stock and cook until soft and the liquid has reduced.
  4. Blend with a stick blender adding in the cream as you go.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
