Mushroom Sauce
This sauce is perfect on on steak, crumbed chicken or plain chicken.

  1. Turn a fry pan onto a medium heat
  2. Put the butter into the fry pan
  3. Sauté the onions and garlic in the butter
  4. Add the mushrooms and allow the mushroom and onion to completely soften
  5. Add the cream and keep on a medium heat for approximately 5 minutes. This will start the reducing process.
  6. Reduce to a low heat and cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes (or until the desired mushroom taste has been achieved – the sauce should be grey before you consider taking it off the heat). You may need to take the lid off and reduce the sauce for another 5 minutes if it is too runny.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste
